Corrosion proof vacuum pump—titanium pump
Titanium pump is one of the corrosion proof water ring pump, which means the components contacting with the liquid is made by titanium or titanium alloy. Its seal is double end surface mechanical seal. The pump is used to transport various organic or inorganic corrosive liquid, especially saline solution containing chlorine. The pump cannot transport fuming nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, chlorhydric acid with density ＞30%， more safe and reliable than the vacuum pump with normal material. The price of titanium and titanium alloy is relatively high, so it is applied under the condition that other material corrosion proof pump cannot be qualified. Titanium or titanium alloy vacuum pump is generally made by found and welding. The specification and size of the pump and the matching package unit can be produced to non standard according to the customers’ requirement.
