Overview:
Water ring compressors of SY/2SY series are used for exhausting air and other noncorrosive, water insoluble and solid particle-free gases. They are being widely used for compressing and conveying gases and recycling tail gases in petroleum industry and chemical industry, especially chlor-alkali industry, PVC industry and pharmaceuticals industry. They are featured with high pressure, compact structure, reliable performance, convenient operation and large exhaust speed in high pressure zone. Since the gas compression is an isothermal process, compression of inflammable and explosive gases is safe, making the products available for polyethylene, styrene, oxides, chloroethylene monomer, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfate, benzene, buthyl ethylene and oxygen in petroleum industry and chemical industry.
Characteristics:
Integrated double end mechanical seals formed by stainless steel and reliable seal elements completely prevent leakage during conveying the compressed gas.
The pump can exhaust gases with a lot of steam and particles, and compress and convey water soluble or water insoluble gases by different operating fluid.
Parts which can be provided with the pump include: electric control system, gas-liquid separator, heat exchanger, condenser, etc. They constitute an integral unit with automatic monitoring and control functions.
The pumps can be favorably compared to foreign products when they function as compressors.
Model expression:
Models of the 2SY series are expressed by 4 words (letters) and numbers as follows:
<1> S Y — <2>
<1> stands for stage number, specifically, 2 means two-stage compressor and null means single-stage compressor. SY is the name of the high pressure water ring compressor. <2> stands for the maximal exhaust speed (m3/min).
For example, “2SY-12” stands for a two-stage water ring compressor whose maximal exhaustion capacity is 12 m3/min.

Note:
The motor powers in the table are applicable for conditions: exhaust pressure of the SY series is 0.25MpaG, and exhaust pressure of the 2SY series is 0.55MpaG.
The maximal exhaust pressure of the 2SY series can reach 0.8MpaG.
Different exhaust pressures require different motor powers.
Figures of SY/2SY high pressure water ring compressor units
SY/2SY high pressure water ring compressors shall be used with other devices as a compressor unit. Our company will provide following devices:
actuating device: motor, coupling, etc.;
electric control system: switch cabinet, soft boot device, PIC, etc.;
stop valve equipped at the air inlet to prevent liquid from returning to the system when the compressor stops;
gas-liquid separator which belongs to pressure vessel and is equipped on a vent pipe for separating compressed gas from the operating fluid;
condenser equipped at the air inlet for cooling the gas and condensing condensable vapor so as to reduce compressor load;
heat exchange for cooling the operating fluid, which is a must for operating fluid circulation;
valves and pressure gages, etc.
The devices and gages are optional depending on specific circumstance and shall be specified in order.
