Products overview:
IS water centrifugal pumps are single-stage, single-suction and cantilevered centrifugal pumps, suitable to transport clean water without solid particle with temperature below 80℃, and other liquid similar to clean water in physical and chemical properties. The IS pumps are widely used in industrial and mining enterprises, water supply and drainage of city and farmland irrigation .
There are 34 basic models in the whole series, and 242 specifications can be offered by changing rotation speed and cutting impeller diameter. The pump have a series of advantages, such as: rational distribution of hydraulic performance, reliable structure, convenient maintenance, little vibration, low noise, and high efficiency etc. and it’s energy-saving product promoted by nation. The shaft seal adopts packing seal and mechanical seal. The rotational direction of pump are clockwise view from prime motor.
Performance range:
Flow volume: 6.3~400m3/h
Head: 5~125m
Speed: 2900r/min、1450r/min
Motor power: 0.55~110KW
Inlet diameter: 50~200mm
Model expression:
IS 80 – 65 – 160 A IS is single stage single suction water centrifugal pump;80 stands for diameter of pump inlet;65 stands for diamter of pump outlet;160 stands for impeller nominal diameter(mm);A stands for impeller outer diameter after the first cutting
Design characteristics:
IS water centrifugal pump is designed as the performance and size specified as international standard ISO 2858. The main parts are pump casing, pump cover, impeller, shaft, seal ring, shaft sleeve and suspension bearing parts etc.
The pump casing and pump cover are divided from the impeller back, that is, open from back structure. The advantage is convenient check and repair; only the middle connection parts of the extension coupling needs to be dismantled, that is quit the rotor parts to check and repair. Connection pipes of the inlet and outlet, pump casing and the motor are not necessary to be dismantled.
Pump casing and pump cover form pump working chamber. Impeller, shaft and rolling bearings are pump rotors. Suspension bearings support rotors partly, and rolling bearings bear pump radial force and axial force.
In order to balance pump axial force, seal rings are set in both front and back of the impeller, and balance hole are set in the back cover plate of the impeller. Since axial force of some pump are not strong, there’re no seal ring and balance hole in the impeller back.
The axial seal ring of the pump consists of packing gland, packing ring and packing in case of air suction or massive leakage. If there’s balance hole in the impeller, the cavity with soft packing will connect with impeller inlet. If the liquid in the impeller inlet is in vacuum condition, the air can be suck in easily along the shaft sleeve surface. Therefore, there’s packing ring in the stuffing box, and water with pressure is led to packing ring for seal from pump casing via the hole in the pump cover. If there’s no balance hole in the impeller, since the liquid pressure of the impeller back is larger than atmospheric pressure, the leakage problem and packing ring can be avoided.
In order to avoid shaft abrasion, the protection of shaft sleeve is installed in the part where shaft passes by packing box. O seal ring is set between shaft sleeve and shaft to avoid air suction or water leakage along surface.
The pump is driven by connecting with motor via extension elastic coupling. View from motor, the pump rotates as clockwise direction.
